Lowdown:Loved it. I don’t want to call this book a program, but in the end that’s what it is. Its nine steps are designed to change your relationship with money. I haven’t started the program yet, but it’s already started working for me. Highly recommended.
I’ve always considered myself pretty responsible when it comes to money. I try and save. I keep my accounts balanced. Read the weekly financial advice column in the paper. It was there that I saw the recommendation for this book.
I checked out a copy from the library, but quickly bought my own . The purpose of its program is to teach the fulfillment curve.

Your Money or Your Life, 2008, p. 24
As you spend more and more money, you move from surviving, to living comfortable, up to having luxuries. At some point, you have enough and spending more and having more doesn’t bring more fulfillment.
This is the part that I’ve already started to put into practice. When I spend money now, I am more mindful whether what I’m buying will ultimately bring me more fullfillment. As a result, I spend less and save a little more. It’s been nice.
This is more than a book about money. It’s a book about understanding what brings fullfillment to your life, and aligning your spending and earning habits with whatever that may be.
